"Overwhelmed - V'yisa'u"
The Israelites
were overwhelmed with the Egyptian army at their heels as they stood at the
edge of the Red Sea. (Exodus 14:10-15) The Disciples were
overwhelmed when Jesus invited them to feed the 5,000. (John 6:1-21) What about us today?
Often it seems like everything radiates tension and our world is like the
skin of a balloon being inflated toward the breaking point. If this
is where we are at the crossroad, how can we possibly move and change? Join
us Sunday at 10 am as we work this out together, and continue our journey
on “The Great Spiritual Migration”.
Woodridge UMC
is an open and loving United Methodist community striving to
be:
Welcoming
to all;
Uniting in service toward greater social justice for all;
Moving forward with understanding and acceptance of all
peoples;
Creating disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation
of the world.
Our purpose is
to offer a safe place and community to all races, cultures, religions,
genders, sexual identities, ethnicities, age groups and other
beliefs.
